AutoRide Customs began with a simple passion: a love for cars and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Founder Steve’s journey started in Guyana, where as a child he spent countless hours working on vehicles alongside his uncle. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for automotive craftsmanship. Although he initially pursued a desk job after high school, he quickly realized his true calling was hands-on work—building, repairing, and restoring vehicles.

In 1990, Steve moved to the United States and took the first step toward turning that passion into a career. He enrolled at MidFlorida Tech and began working at Fountain Auto Mall in Orlando, Florida, where he developed the skills and foundation that would shape his future in the industry.

With over 35 years of experience, Steve founded AutoRide Customs in Ocoee in 2015. From the very beginning, the mission has been clear: deliver high-quality autobody work with honesty, precision, and care.

Through continuous training and a dedication to staying current with modern repair techniques and technology, AutoRide Customs has built a strong reputation for craftsmanship and reliability in the community.

Today, AutoRide Customs is proudly family-owned and operated. Steve works side by side with his children, Ashwin and Ashley, who play key roles in the business.

• Ashley leads operations, administration, and marketing, helping the business run smoothly and continue to grow. 

Together, the family shares a unified vision: to carry forward the values the company was built on while expanding into the future.

 Our Ocoee location is where the AutoRide Customs story started in 2015. It’s more than just our first shop—it’s the foundation of our family business.

The trust we built here in the community made it possible for us to grow and open our second location in Tavares. Even as we expand, Ocoee remains at the center of everything we do, setting the tone for the quality, care, and service we’re known for.
